🌿Creative Spotlight: Olyne Mauya!🌿
This week, the spotlight beams on Olyne Mauya, a true innovator whose creativity is shaping Tsinde Eco Empower’s circular economy vision.
Olyne has produced strong Eco Bricks using leftover landscaping soil and cement, designed our clean-burning briquettes from groundnut-husk biochar and cassava starch, and most impressively crafted a functional waste bin made from plastic bottles and scrap metal. If innovation had a heartbeat, it would sound a lot like Olyne’s ideas. 💚♻
We’re also recognizing the solid contributions of Owen Khoza and Edith Dawa, who continue to bring energy and ingenuity to the team. Their recent creations include a 0.45kg plastic-melt plate made from bottle caps and durable eco-pavers formed from melted thin plastics, plastic bottles, and sand of which all are produced through a carefully controlled heating process to prevent air pollution.
Together, our team is proving that waste is only waste when creativity is absent.
